Throughout our 30 years in business helping industry find flaws in their products has been the mainstay of our company. Our Ultrasonic Quality Assurance Systems inspect more than 15,000,000 products per day. When we got our start it was thanks to the American Plywood Association. Today we inspect every kind of building product you can think of. Our first model, the 506QAS is the most sold defect detector on the market. It is not uncommon to see these units for sale, after years and years of service, for more than they sold for new. The Model 506QAS was the first product we designed using the FORM, FIT, and FUNCTION engineering principle. As such, many of the parts our customers see inside their unit don't resemble what was there to begin with but, just like the bunny on TV, they just keep going and going. Many of them have lasted through more than one generation of plant employees. We have so many of these elder statesmen in the field we started a club to recognize their achievement. We call it the Twenty Plus Club. Between the 506QAS and the 1000EP laser gauge we have several dozen members.

Simple, robust and to the point, the 506QAS is the standard for the quality inspection industry.

Today the 506QAS has a brother, A BIG BROTHER, the 5600QAS. As the panel industry changed, the need to be able to inspect ever increasingly thicker products became greater and greater. Introduced in 1996 the 5600QAS has the most powerful non-contact Ultrasonic transducers in the Non-Destructive Testing Industry. Today we have these gauges installed in plants that regularly produce billets in excess of five inches. With its powerful transducers and sophisticated electronics, the 5600QAS is able to perform in the noisy, hot, high speed environment that exist in today's modern manufacturing plant.

But that's not all! For the last fourteen years we have built another transducer called the 510. When you see those big pieces of Rubber on the road (we call them Alligators) from semi's it's probably because the tire carcass was not tested for defects prior to re-treading. We have built over 140 Tuff Scan systems for Oliver Rubber Co. However, not everybody buys their tires from them. Because of the 510's unique properties we have discovered other applications and have developed a new quality assurance system.

This unit is able to find flaws and voids in products that a few years ago were not thought possible.

Every A.I.C. 5600 and 510 Quality Assurance System includes the following:
