The nature of our business often requires that we precisely match the data we generate with the position on the product it was taken from. We manufacture a nicely packaged head-shaft encoder when appropriate, however, slippage between the product and the conveyor often eliminate this as an acceptable technique. |

Because the products we encode the position of often vary greatly in thickness as well as having abrupt ends, we opted to develop an encoder that runs directly on the product surface from the underside. Although developed for use specifically with our products, we have found that so many of our customers have been using our "spares" for other purposes that we decided to make these encoders available as a general customer purchase item.
