This is Serial #1, Trienco Quality Assurance System, produced and installed in 1973. It was retried in 1996, having served in excess of 100,000 online hours. During this period, it scanned approximately 156 million 4'x8' sheets in a very rugged environment. At the time it was retired from service, it was still fully supported as new through Trienco's FORM, FIT and FUNCTION packaging design. It was fully data interfaceable to a PC at least 10 years before the Intel 286 based PC's existed. |
