Here at Automation Industries Corp. we have a whole different philosophy about software. First and foremost it is NOT THE FOCUS of our sales presentations. Our hardware is! This is because our hardware, both lasers and ultrasound devices can take accurate measurements and find flaws without any software at all. Therefore our software is designed to provide data real-time and at high speeds, and not just a pretty face to cover up hardware blemishes.

Perception Series V is our newest version. It is an embedded system based on QNX for which you will find links throughout this site. If you go to their site you will quickly realize that it is real time machine control software designed to provide data for high-speed environments where recognition of an event and response to it is critical. This is something that Windows based software was never designed to do. We installed our first closed loop system in 1985 based on QNX and have been a fan ever since.

Our latest version interfaces with Windows using TCP/IP connectivity. We also have a standard data historian output to help with materials handling documents and other quality issues. We can communicate with all major mill nets such as Wonderware, Intellution, and ABB. A.I.C. has software to support every application and each package is specific to the application.
