The ACCU-SCAN Cross machine Profiler shown here is designed for Fourdrinier type operations. A full corss machine profile is read as a stepper driven linear actuator indexes the scanning pod across. The data is then fed back to the millnet to provide for leveling of the raw furnish as it exits the process headbox. The cross machine scan occurs at a rate of 10" per second.
